ok so I found this thread and maybe you folks can help in my decision.
So yesterday I walked into a huge spiderweb w/huge spider on my way back from the store-in the process of freaking out and dropping my groceries,I happened to drop my phone which is a HTC Desire C.
Recently I bought a case off the net because its original front casing was coming off-so the new case helped that out however now since I dropped it, everything works but the screen. Also when I had picked it up there was a nice white line going from top to bottom before I had turned it off and then turned it back on hoping that would of solved the problem. Nope.
Tried doing a reset to factory settings-nope.
Found the vid on youtube where the guy takes it apart-did that and everything seems ok to the naked eye.
Thing is, before I start throwing money at this-would it be worth it?
my phone company just got taken over and at the end of the year they are forcing upgrades on all CDMA phones so that everyone will be using a iPhone or S4 or something similar in type of smartphones..I have a choice of two phones thru my phone company-1 is the ZTE Prelude the other the ZTE Sonata which is 50 bucks with a $50 rebate. So i could go that route or instead fix this one and wait 4-5 more months then upgrade? Also back to fixing this- could it be the digitizer or the LCD?
Any info or maybe help me look a second time under the hood-will be awesomely appreciated!!
Thanks guys-Vic
