Help Replace battery after one year?

My Nexus 4 is a year old and I will be opening it to replace the rear glass.(it doesn't take much to break it at the speaker cutout).
The battery seems pretty good but I've been progressively leaning usage (greenify, freezing unused apps, preventing run at boot) so I'm not sure if its performance has changed much.
Would it be a good idea to replace the battery now to increase performance or prevent a near future loss of battery life.
I have the tools and skills to preform small electronics repairs.

If you are going to tear it down anyway, go ahead and replace it, they are relatively inexpensive... But just for the battery I wouldn't change it unless it's 20+ months old or you are experiencing significant degradation of battery life.

I went ahead and did the rear glass but not the battery.
I was happy to see how accessable the battery is and will probably replace it in a couple of months weather I'm upgrading or not because I've been giving my old phones to my girlfriend to use for browsing and mp3 player.
I hope its not glued as well as the rear glass was.
Thanks again for all the good advice.
