Replace front cover

Hi,
I bought my phone months ago and I found, that the material is very very sensitive for falls My phone after one fall look such as my old touch HD after two years... So I am wondering, if somebody tried change the front case.
I found this on:
HTC Desire G7 Faceplate housing,front cover/lens
Is it very difficult to change it or it is just few screws? And is this one front case alright?

That seems to be the correct front case..

When I remove my backplate, I can see the 6 screws there. 2 of them have this sticker on them, reads "void". So this will propably void your warranty if you do it yourself.

If you decide to do it yourself, then just be careful and I'm sure you'll be okay.

Although it's definitely not for the faint-hearted and will void any warranty as stated above.

One other point to note, it doesn't look like this faceplate has the digitizer, so you'd need to remove the one from your existing cover and transfer it to the new one.

I have done lots of phone housing and all i can say is make sure its genuine... they are never as good otherwise....
