Replace Google Maps 7.4 with 6.9

I'm on a Verizon Moto X running Kit Kat. Is it possible to disable maps 7.4 and then side load maps 6.9 (with the separate navigation icon/app that I miss so much). I really hate using 7.4 with a passion. Hopefully this will work.

I think it has been a single app for a long time. I actually just lost my arrow in 4.4 too but in another thread here I posted this:



I made an app to use as a shortcut. All it does is open directly to the navigation activity in maps.

(if people want the blue arrow graphic I will have to see if I can find a clean version of it).

(There are also probably apps that do this on Google Play too)
