Help Replace Triumph(stopped charging) with HTC EVO V?

Hi all,
Yesterday I plugged my phone in when I went to sleep. When I woke up, I noticed it wasn't charging, and I couldn't turn it on. I tried to plug it in to my computer with no success. I also tried to remove the battery, and launch it into recovery mode. It seems that my only option left is to try and get a replacment. That being said, I was wondering if I could possibly get it replaced with the EVO V? Or would I be stuck getting a new Triumph? Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how I might be able to get it working again, that would be great.
Any help is appreciated.
 
You could email VM n tell them that you want a cheaper phone "technically" that will work because your sick of a triumph, but I highly don't think they will let u switch phones
 
I don't think they would.
They still need to get rid of all refurbished and yet to be sold Triumphs.
 
They may tell you you can get a lower level phone and maybe some account credit depending on the phones price but they will never send you a better phone as a replacement, even if the evo's on sale its still technically there next step up from the triumph phone



The only way to possibly hopefully try to get an evo for it would be if you bought it at a retail store like bestbuy or something and you purchased a blacktie replacement or some other type of super warranty, since most retailers have pulled the triumph and replaced it with the evo they would simply have you pay the difference

My friend gave me his triumph because of this and several other reasons I told him I could fix but he was tired of the phone. If you arent tired of the phone buy ope of these! I got one and the phone is just fine just charges the battery outside of the phone while you are using the other battery!

Installed a new ROM and that fixed all other problems. I got a almost 300 dollar phone for like 30 bucks lolololol.


EDIT plus the two batteries it comes with are 1600mah instead of the 1320 that the phone came with!
 
Do not get a HTC EVO V 4G. The fixes do not work for everyone you are better off spending you're money elsewhere and not with Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile is just fine, you just have to know what phones are good, and how to make them better if there is an issue. Besides it is your, not you're . Yes i am the grammar police.

Virgin Mobile is not just fine. Me and my roommate both have Virgin Mobile we both have the same service issues. Sometimes we both Never get a sms that was sent to us or the sms Never gets to the other person. I get dropped calls all the time. Data is super slow. So I got a EVO V 4g... and nothing has changed I only ended up with even more problems.

Im ALways texting myself with my google voice number to see if text messages are sending and if Im getting them.

where do you live ? I live in Orlando and my service is awesome. Never drop a signal or miss texts even inside the furniture factory i work in. Sorry about your issues but not everyone has them..The 4g will only work if you are in a WImax data area. did you look at your area on the virgin mobile coverage map?

I have to agree with you,the triumph is worth about 25 dollars,the HTC is decent but there dial up 3G speeds is what gets me forget Wimax as Sprint has givin up on it for LTE,
