I cracked the digitizer on my Galaxy S5 (Sprint). I bought a new OEM digitizer, and was very careful while taking the old one out. I plugged in the new digitizer, and started the phone. Everything seemed to work except for the back button, and recent apps buttons. At first I thought it was a defective digitizer, so I had them send me a new one. I still have no back button, or recent apps.
Just so you know, I am not in power saving mode, and I also checked to make sure touch light duration set to 1.5 seconds, as I always had it.
Any ideas what would cause it to not be working correctly?
I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
Ace

. No wonder you are so good at fixing things.
I have a long pedigree from Hard Knocks University.... tore apart my first National (brand) ham radio receiver to replace all the grungy capacitors back in 1956... unfortunately at that point in time, my eduKation was still lacking
but you learn by putting forth effort and then figuring out how to correct your mistakes.
