Hi,
I bought a Jiake S6 for my husband who hasn't had a smartphone before. He's had it about a week and it seems surpisingly good but the battery life isn't very good. The phone goes from 60% to 15% to shutdown in the space of half an hour. There doesn't seem to be much running in the background.
I thought it might be the battery and was going to get a replacement, but I can't find an exact equivalent in the UK. The battery says "GB/T17287-2013 3.8v Li-ion 2500mAh. I can only see T17287-2000 and 3.7v batteries. I'm worried about attempting to fit a different battery in case the phone melts or something.
Could anyone here please advise what alternatives, if any, might be safe to use?
