Help Replacement Bezel

Where did you get a screen? For how much?

Replacement screen from EBay for $44. Don't think I could have got a new tablet cheaper
The bezel works... just would like a new one that looks better.

I spent about 3 hours on the replacement. I guess it depends on how much you value your time.
I enjoy the challenge of trying to do something I've never done before. Also since I am retired I had the time to do it.
Now that i have slept on it, I think I will be able to repair my bezel. The bezel is a combination of plastic and aluminum. When the tablet fell, a two inch piece of the plastic broke away from the aluminum. The plastic of the bezel snaps into the edges of the tablet which then holds the bezel in place. I think if I can glue that piece back on then the bezel will look (almost) as good as new.

I didn't even guess that it was cheap enough to repair these. I thought the screens would be way more expensive.
I think you'll be better off withOUT some superglue- seems too brittle. Maybe a semi-flexible epoxy would be better?

Yea, I'm not a fan of superglue.
I went with the cheapest replacement screen I could find. I figured that all of the screens were made by the same company. The replacement screen looks identical to the original. The only issue dealing with China was it took about three weeks to get it.
Replacing the screen by yourself isn't for everyone but it worked out ok for me
