Replacement Dialer?

I'm wondering if there is a way to replace the stock dialer application with a 3rd party one. Not talking about the number entry/contacts, I'm referring to the actual app that runs when you're on a call since mine does not have a landscape mode apparently. Is there a way to replace this?

Have you tried Dialer One, once installed test it and if it works in Landscape mode, then replace the short cup with the stock dialer one or ExDialer & Contacts, I believe this one does work in Landscape mode.

Well my stock dialer does work in landscape mode, when dialing a number. However when I'm on a call it goes back to portrait.
