Replacement for ipad 2

I'm getting a new samsung gs3 in a week or so and I'm thinking of getting a android tablet to replace my ipad. I'm wondering whatnes people recommend that are similar, I've looked at Samsung galaxy tabs/notes etc. but I'm still not sure what to get.

The best Android tablets are the Note 10.1, the Nexus 10, and the ASUS Infinity. Since you will be getting a GSIII, I'd suggest getting the Note for a more unified experience in apps and UI. Plus you can set up Kies Air on both devices. This allows access of the contents of the other device on the other end. Its a free service for Samsung devices.

I've heard about Kies but never paid much attention towards it. I'm going to have to check it out and see how it works.

Just looked at the Nexus 7 in HMV and really like it's smoothness and design, so I'm thinking the 10 is very nice too. Shame it's not in stock, does anyone else sell it?

Sold out within an hour of launch here in the UK, I'd imagine they will be shipping more soon... hopefully before Christmas!

I have the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and really like it. Maybe the 10 inch version would suit you.
