Replacement HTC Desire - App Marketplace Missing !!

Hi All

I'm new to the forum as I'm trying to help out my girlfriend who is being driven nuts by Orange!

She had various problems with her HTC Desire, which led to them sending her a replacement handset. The user interface on the handset is a little different, which I assume is down to a different firmware version.

The problem is that the App Marketplace is nowhere to be seen! She has called Orange several times but they haven't been able to help. They did send a text to perform some sort of update but nothing changed.

Any ideas on how to find or activate the App Marketplace?

why don't you go a that orange store to give you another htc desire? i never heard about an android phone on which you can't find the App Marketplace

Second replacement phone later and all appears OK.
Orange must have shipped a phone with dodgy software!
