Replacement opening tool

How do I get one? I know it was included but who knows where it is now. No, a paper clip is not narrow enough to fit in the hole. I want to get the "tray" out and put in a 256 gb SD card. Maybe some day the Stylus will magically repair itself and I won't have to use the Play.

If you have coloured paper clips you can peel back the sticking - in end :p

That's what I resort to.

My last sim removal tool bent like toothpaste a few days ago. (3 of 4 phones I have need one)*

There are different sizes? How do I get the smaller kind? What magical store carries those (not amazin)?

Yeh also make sure you're not inserting it in to a microphone hole for ambient noise.

I have a motorised front camera rising from a slot on the top of my Poco F2 that looks exactly like the sim tray on the bottom; plus there's a mic hole next to it.

I shall reveal no more .....

I got a pack of needles, the skinniest I could find. It was hard not to get stabbed but it fit just fine. The only problem is the "tray" or whatever it's called did not emerge. Of course I tried more than once, and it was the little hole right next to the thing.

A needle isn't what you want as it has a pointed end. A paper clip (or the official tool) has a flat end which is what presses on the release tab inside to eject the tray. A needle will probably just poke through it.

Where do I get the small enough paper clips? Remember that I buy local. Would the other end of the needle work, or how about a nail?

A nail, if one that might fit can be found, will be pointed as well as a needle. I suggest that you confirm that you are accessing the correct opening to release the tray. Once confirmed, the sage advice of seeking the correct tool from a local phone retailer left above would be a great avenue. Or paper clips can be found at any store that sells school supplies. Even my local grocer carries an assortment of paper clips.

Was this the sim card tray that was bent when you got it out before, or was that in a movie I saw?

Do you think it's stuck or misshapen?

Did you only open it once before when it was new?

Otherwise (as said ^) maybe it needs to be a wider pin, although I did recently open one with the sharp end of a safety pin from the dry cleaners, but it probably varies by device.

What kind of paper clips are in the US? I know we have larger size paper clips as well, maybe you are using those? Smaller one inch type ones are more common.

I finally borrowed a paper clip and barely got the bleeping thing open. Then I had to get someone else to put the cards in it. Miraculously, it worked. @#$ these crappy nearly unusable phones! @#$ their evil manufacturers! @#$ us, too, I guess, for being stupid enough to waste time and money on them!

Is there a way to get a volume key unstuck? WD-40 seems overkill, but maybe there"s a way to use a very slim needle or other such object. I keep checking the Stylus, which is still stuck on the operation screen, with power "ok". I guess it must have a huge standby time.
