replacement screens

Now, i just had a consumer question for those of you who dabbled in screen replacement. It is a little awkward for me to ask this question because I did notice one of the vendors I was considering is a "something" on these forums so if he, she or they was to offer their opinions, I could almost only consider them as biased. that being said my questions is

Is one screen (just the outer glass part) superior to any other in quality? There is a vendor that sells them of their site along with all the tools. but everything is sold separately and can come to cost twice as much what one would pay on ebay for everything from a seller with a superior rating.

now with that being said. I gotta say, I'm really skeptical if there is more than one factory or basement apartment with industrial machinery in it in China, Korea or wherever these get produced that sells this screen. its just not cost efficient for a two year old phone only sold on one continent i believe (i mean the screen might fit other phones in other countries as well buts that besides the point because they are probably just as old). they probably make these in big batches and sell them in bulk. and they probably haven't made them in a while.

so what i'm saying is, two guys buy them from the same source. one guy sells them for more because he has a website, the other for less because he has less overhead with his ebay store and is a less serious operation. plus they're probably not selling well anyways since the phone is getting older and more extinct.

but, its just what i think.

in case anyone is wondering since there was no answer i took the shot and ordered the 12 dollar screen off ebay. In the end. apparently not all screens are created equal. mine lacks any touch responsiveness across a certain section of the screen which can be frustrating. I am in touch with the seller now on this issue.
