Help Replacing Bionic wth a used one

A friend of mine broke her Bionic and wants to replace it with another one. Used. She is a Verizon subscriber.

Does she move the SIM from her current phone to the replacement?

Does she need to make sure that the replacement is a Verizon model?

The Bionic was only sold by Verizon. Any replacement Bionic would be a Verizon model.

I would think that you would, but I'd just call Verizon to find out for sure.
