Replacing Digitizer without replacing LCD

Is it possible to replace only the digitizer, and not the LCD screen? Mine has cracked glass, but the screen is fine, and I don't want to spend an extra 40 dollars for the entire screen assembly.

Yes you can but you really have to be careful taking the digitizer apart from the LCD because it could cut the LCD also you might need a heat gun just find a video on how to do it

It depends on the screen assembly, if you can buy the digitizer or LCD separately then it's possible.
