Help Replacing Voice Mate as default for BT headset?

Is there anyway to replace the awful Voice Mate with google command when I hit my Bluetooth headset connect button?!?! Ideally I'd like to avoid interacting with my phone itself, as it's usually in my pocket, and I'd like to simply dial from my headset.

Also is anyone experiencing bad sound through a Bluetooth phone headset? It's not terrible, but it's nowhere as nice and clear as it used to be on my iphone 5, with the same exact headset. Also it seems the volumes are mismatched, the voice volume on the Bluetooth headset seems very quiet, where the system volume seems very loud, so I turn up the bt headset to hear the other caller, but then Voice Mate and the disconnect beep are really loud and hurt my ear. I can't say I'm thrilled with the Bluetooth performance, and that's one of my main uses.

I have the opposite problem: I'd like to get Voice Mate to start up when I use my headset button (press and hold with a Jawbone ERA), but it launches the Google voice dial instead. Would really like to know how to change this (and, you know, change it back if it sucks... same problem for both of us, though, just want a way to pick the default app).

assuming stock rom: Settings>Scroll Down to system> Accessibility>Scroll Down>Text-to-speech Output Click which program you want to use

Google TTS is the only option here... it's not the TTS (ie. text is read out by the phone) we're trying to change, it's the voice recognition/dialing option.

Ok sorry Let me look again mine says google tts and LG TTS+ Let me see If I can find what you are looking for.

Only Thing I could think of is go to playstore and download a new voice command program, then the first time you try to use it, it should ask what program you want to use

Hmmm, I could try that... seems to me my DHD did that when it was on the stock Gingerbread, but after I Jellybeaned it, it wouldn't let me select anymore even after installing other apps.

Just go to the mytalk page http://mytalk.jawbone.com/jb2/mytalk and adjust your dial app settings. Maybe that can help.

I fixed the problem. Go to settings, General, Apps. Switch to all Applications. Scroll down to Voice Mate and click on it. Clear data, and then disable.
Next go to Voice command (Voice Dialer) and do the same thing.
Last thing to do is click on your physical Bluetooth button and your phone will install Google voice dialer.
The only downside is that you can only make phone calls (i.e. Call Home). I also recommend going into Google Now setting and where it says "OK Google" hotword. Check mark all screens and when screen is off. This only uses the phone mic and not Bluetooth mic. If your phone is in your pocket, or in a small room you can say "Ok Google" it will turn on and you can say a command, "Open Pandora Radio"

Hope this helps.
