I have a Samsung Epic 4g touch phone. It was on EI22 and worked well while being rooted. Recently I got an OTA EL30 update but it wouldn't install. I got my phone to stock EI22, performed the EL30 update, then I'm currently on rooted EL30. The phone seems to work fine but I just noticed a problem with the e-mail.
While an e-mail is open choosing the home button brings up a menu where you can choose to reply to the e-mail. So far it works fine and also brings up an additional window in which you can choose to reply to sender to reply to all. After choosing "all" or "sender" the phone returns to the e-mail inbox and does not allow you to reply to the e-mail.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or have a fix for it?
EDIT: I received a suggestion from someone. Removing or deleting the e-mail account then setting the same e-mail account up again on the phone allows you to reply to e-mails.
