Root [REQ] Anyone Hard Bricked?

not close enough. i need someone to have flashed over a bootloader or something else wrong where the phone screen wont turn on at ALL
i saw u came with the soft brick fix, so i thought why not bring the boot from sd on hard bricked devices, from the galaxy s3 over. when the phone's emmc is furked up, it'll boot from sdcard when partitioned correctly (same horrid gpt table headers and other things that make android emmc chips bad on partitioning)

Hard bricks are tougher to accomplish than a lot of people think unless you have a bad radio flash or bork your bootloader. But that'd be a welcomed addition as people seem to not understand the principle of backups (and restoring with the recovery that made the backup.) So that being said go for it. :D

being based upon the krait arch and manuf after the release of 8960 chips, our board supposedly supports it (checked through aboot) by Shabbypenguin upon me asking
im buying an awe either today or tomorrow and dont wanna brick it on purpose before getting back to the dev community

Just to make it clear to you guys.... THERE IS NOTHING A BACKUP CAN DO IN THE EVENT OF THE RECOVERY MALFUNCTIONING LIKE THIS. I've tried everything and it all comes back with the same status 6 and status 7 errors. So the major problems that people are having (or at least me) are completely spontaneous. I had a backup, multiple roms, multiple kernels, multiple recoveries all stored on my SD card. I was prepared for anything that I was ABLE to be prepared for.

If emmc is the internal data, then yeah that's me bro. I would be glad to test out an unbrick method for you If I'm able, I don't always have access to a computer though.

not the type of thing i was talking about but i may still be able to help

i had meant, where the device is TOTAL bricked, wont even charge, blink, possibly vibrate on power keypress

I just bricked my galaxy Tab 2 7.0 sch-i705 it wont turn on i tried everything looking every where right now to find something. I wish there was a program that would let me access the tablets files with out being powered on so i can do a factory reboot
