request for Screen shots (LTE speeds)

RedSun

Newbie
Greetings all!

i would like to make a request to the group. this goes out to those that are going to be upgrading to one of the new phones on sprints LTE network vere very soon.

i would really like to see a screen shot showing your current 3g speeds, 4g (wimax) speeds, and then finally a shot showing LTE speeds for comparision.

i also think this could be one of the greatest selling points for sprint if enough people participate and results are positive!

I am expecting great things, but honestly, i would like see what i might be upgrading to.

as i live in San Antonio, i am in one of the primary markets so i plan to upgrade but i am going to be waiting for the Photon 2.

thanks all for your help! :p

yeah, i had seen that posting back in April, but it's not overly helpful as it dosen't tell me what he was getting.

what i am looking to find out is....

for 3g, i get .25Mbps down, .08Mbps up.
with 4g (wimax) on, i get .34Mbps down, .28Mbps up.
with sprint LTE, i get ????

this is more or less, what i was looking for.

Athens, GA LTE - Sprint 4G Rollout Updates - Page 6

on 3g, the guy is getting .52Mbps down.
on LTE, the guys is getting 30-35Mbps !!!

I get the crap on 3g so i am hoping i get the same "awesomeness" with LTE

NV wasn't fully activated in his area. Only LTE went active, and it's likely only for testing purposes. He got lucky to say the least. Once the 3G portion of NV goes active in his area, he should be seeing anything upwards of 1 meg DS.

This is Redonkulous. That's faster than FIOS. I saw somewhere else in the thread he's like a block away from a station that was being built, is that where he was getting the signal from? If not, does anyone know what the distance is for getting a good LTE signal from a tower? Is it 3 miles?

Now this is some speed!
