Request help with Yahoo news streaming

[shammond]

Hi I have Samsung SIII
I saw this thread (quoted below) and have exactly the same question but can't find the answer - appreciate your support on how to permanently remove Yahoo news streaming from the lock screen. Thanks

"Perhaps this thread is already here but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I "somehow got the Yahoo news streaming on my lock screen. I don't care for it - and seems it is contributing to some battery drain - CAN NOT find out how to remove it. Any help appreciated in advance!"
