rerware- backup pro - home screen backup

[reubixcubix]

rerware my backup pro has saved me from losing most my bits and bobs before three told me to do a system restore..
But despite ticking to back up home pages, for screensaver and positions of the folders and apps that i took ages fiddling to set up- it hasnt restored them.

i have to send my phone back ( htc desire c - got screen problem)for an exchange and want to back it up before i send it back .. my question is should my backup pro save the home screen layout?

ok a bit more information .. contacted the rerware peeps and they suggested unintall and reinstalling app.

after backup the folloing error comes up in relation to the home screen.

homeshortcuts failed
couldnt read row 0 col 1 from the cursor window, make sure the cursor is initialised correctly before accessing data from it.

apparently it is a problem with my phone not the app!
Anyone cast any light on this.. i need to send the phone back for a replacement today and would like to back it up before i do
many thanks

Do a screen calibration, then try backing up again and see if that corrects the error.

Varies by device. Check your manual. It may not help, but worth a try.
