Help Reset and usb driver??

Hi, I have a google android 2.1 epad zt180. questions: what exactly does the reset button do? I thought that with the epad turned on, i use the reset and it will bring my epad back to the original factory state.
Other question, I am looking for the usb drivers for the epad to connect the mini hub(otg neck) to my computer.
