Reset battery with new rom

I want to reset the battery stats of my galaxy s because i installed a new rom.
How can i do this the best?
I'd appreciate any input on this, thanks!

Go to market and get the app
battery callibration!! and callibrate!!

(must be rooted)

Fully Charge your mobile to 100 p.c
go to /data/system and delete batterystats.bin using Root Explorer or any other Root based file explorer (Filexpert /SU manager/ES file explorer)
If you installed a ROM on 100 p.c battery , calibration is not required

You can also clear your battery stats by booting into recovery and going into the wipe menu, then hit wipe battery stats. (This is pretty much the same method Karandpr posted, but is much easier for simple minded people. ) You do need to clear the stats when the battery is at 100% as well.
