I got an brand new cubot gt99 android phone. Recently I saw that the company offered an firmware.
I installed it and all I got was a bunch of problems (drops calls, screen got iffy). Worst of them was that my back camera's autofocus locked in macro and I can't take any pictures that are more than 5 inches close.
I tried reinstalling the firmware.
I tried an app that has camera settings. It shows various like auto, macro, infinity etc but selecting one doesn't change a thing.
Is there a way to reset the autofocus? Or even to set it in infinity?
I will try at some time to hard reset the phone (maybe an app is causing this. Or even an another custom rom, if it comes to that. Any suggestions welcome.

Assuming the firmware (I assume it was an update) came from the company itself, not from some third party, bring the phone to the company, tell them that their update messed up what it messed up (dropped calls, iffy screen, loss of autofocus) and ask them to get the phone working again.

(If the firmware came from some third party, you're on your own, and if the company is even willing to work on the phone, you'll have to pay for the repairs.)
