Help Reset Gmail password on MyTouch 4g

A few weeks ago I changed my Gmail password via my PC on web Gmail. Since then I've lost all syncing with my phone and tablet. I believe I need to reset the connection/password on the phone and tablet but I can't seem to find anyplace where that can be done on either device. My phone is the HTC MyTouch 4g Android 2.3 and the tablet is the Samsung Tab 2 Android 4.2..

Is there a trick to this or am I chasing up the wrong tree?

Have you triggered a soft reset/reboot of the devices since then?

On the Mytouch shut it off and do a battery pull, then reboot.

On the tablet you should press and hold the power button until you see the screen emit a very brief flash or flicker, itll take 10 to 15 seconds of pressing.

Once rebooted the devices should prompt for the new password.
