Root Reset question

Hey, quick question for you samsung guys out there, i have the bell vibrant, unlocked and rooted. I used the one click root, and now am looking to reset the phone to factory settings. Is it safe to do it through the standard method (going to privacy and resetting) or can that make the phone get stuck in a reboot or something?

Edit: The reset is being done because i am looking at selling the phone!

It is safe to do factory reset (through Settings > Privacy > factory reset, or through 3-button-boot), however, the Superuser icon will still be there after you have reset it.

Thats perfect, i just remember when i had my galaxy 7500 (i believe) it got all messed up. Thanks!
