Reset to factory settings

Hi all great to find an android site
I had to reset my phone to factory settins as one of my wonderful Grandchildren put himself in my phone and I can't remove him as he cant remember what password he used. lol So reset to factory settings and now can't get email even after contacting my provider so hence seeking help or tips from anyone
