reset to factory

[Android Question]

HI. HELP. Been stuck for almost a year. I want to set my flytouch 10vc back the way it came. one problem, we open tablet and google asks for password. cant find or remember password and google wont set it new. What to do ? Im so sadden I bought this cause now I am stuck and my 8 yr old cant use it. HELP. PLEASE.

By googling I found the following (which sounds quite plausible)

""Power off the tab.

Press and hold POWER, BACK and MENU buttons at the same time.

It should start to boot and go to a black screen that says recovery..

Then it will say recovery system, please wait.. then will say all complete and finish booting.

All should now be reset. Only takes about 30 seconds to complete.""
