Reseting phone and paid applications

today i'm having nothing but problems using my phone with it constantly disconnecting calls

if i default the phone and reset to factory settings what happens about paid applications

will i be able to re-download them or would i have to pay again

As far as I know, your downloads and purchases are tied to your Google account.
So I think you would not have to pay again.
Then again I cannot say for sure, haven't been there, haven't done that.
