Resetting after software upgrade

Have a Samsung Galaxy S3 upgraded to 4.3 from Bell Canada and now I'm having to reset everything. Most of all I'm having with the ringtones. I'm having problems with the software not accepting a classic long ring tone from an app of phone ringtones. Just stays on silent.
