Help Resizing videos for MMS

Hey guys,
Every thread I can find about this talks about changing the recording setting so that you can send videos via MMS.

I, however, want to record and keep all of my videos in 1080p but be able to send a lower quality version over MMS.

The Iphone does this automatically when you send a video (I dont want to get into a phone war, its just an observation).

Is there any solution to this?

VidTrim Pro does transcoding for smaller file size ... but I don't know if it's keeping the 1080p.

Update: Had a look, the best resolution of down sized videos would be VGA.
