Help [Resolved/soft reset] Can't find pics I transferred to 100media folder

I had pics from my Evo 4g that I transferred to my PC. Then I transferred them from PC into the 100 media folder on my Evo 3D. My Gallery does not pick them up I tried the .thumbnail folder. No good there either. What am I doing wrong?
 
Is there a file in the 100 media folder called .nomedia? If there is, when the SD card is mounted android will skip scanning it for media files.
 
in addition to above,

was your 4G rooted? is your 3D rooted?

can you see the images if you hook the phone up to a computer?

what if you put the SD card INTO the computer or back in the 4g?

have you done a soft reset from the shutdown menu?

is the card recognized in the handset?
 
neither is rooted. I can see the pics thru Asto file manager, can even open one thru asto using media viewer.

the only two folders in DCIM are. thumbnail and 100media

The card works and I tried a reset
