Help Restart BlueTooth when USB disconnected

BigLizzie

Lurker
I keep being annoyed that when I get in the car, the S2 (Android v4.1) does not connect.

The reason is always the same, which is that I have had it connected to the PC via USB, that automatically switches off BlueTooth and I forget to switch it on again.

So, is there any way either:
  1. To prevent USB connection switching off BT, or
  2. Have BT start up again when USB disconnected?
I realise that I could install Tasker and I think that that would do it, but that seems overkill for a relatively small problem - a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Strange. Connecting to your PC shouldn't disable Bluetooth (it certainly doesn't for me). Do you have any apps installed that use Bluetooth - perhaps for PC file transfer. You could try uninstalling them.

Last resort, maybe try a factory reset. Remembering to back everything up first.
