Since I was forced to do some sort of update on my Casio G'ZOne Commando C771, it has been restarting itself ever half hour or so. And now it won't even let me get on the internet unless I'm on a network, but before the update, I could be anywhere and have some sort of internet access.

After browsing the G'ZOne forums about the only suggestion for bootloops is a factory reset. You will loose all your apps and the system will be reset to factory status (like it was when you first took it out of the box). Google keeps track of purchased and free apps you've downloaded so you can restore them from the Play store. Pictures, Videos, and Music may also be lost so be sure to back them up before the reset. To perform a factory reset got to App drawer / Settings / Privacy / Factory Data Reset
