Help Restarting Itself

Does anyone else's do this? Mines done it twice in the past 24 hours. Its definitely when an error occurs, for instance yesterday my gps lost signal and he phone froze up and restarted. Today my browser hit a slow website ans it restarted. Its probably quicker than waiting for the program to not screw up, but it is annoying.

I think it has happened to mosty DX2 users. Happended to me four times in the past 24 hours and all when playing or had just played Flash video.

I was testing 10.2 though and has not reset on me today during Flash stress tests with 10.3.

Mine did it too,I reactivated my droid x....I think the dx2 is going back. Mine did it a lot, also anytime i used the HDMI mirror it would freeze,so i couldnt use it anyway until waiting for a reboot, pretty embarassing, when your trying to show pics from your new phone....

So it's been getting a lot worse lately. My phone seriously restarted twice yesterday, then I had to reboot it 3 times for similar reasons. I've noticed that if I spend a long time on the phone, like 2 or more hours, it just gets super slow.

My biggest complaint with the phone is mere glitchiness... After a long phone call or when it's charging, or USB transferring, the phone is basically useless, and the only way to get it back to normal is to reboot, but it's stupid that that has to happen every time. Sometimes it just restarts itself for no reason. Just sitting there... then BLAM, restart.

I was hoping for a great phone, but I may go with the bionic when it comes out. Bummer summer.

I was debating returning it yesterday at about this time, due to the memory issues, MP3 pops and Flash issues, when my DX2 suddenly rebooted while I was updating a few apps in the market. One was installing while two others were still downloading and... DROID! Reboot city. Though I have had at least one random reboot a day, I considered that one a sign to return the DX2.

I returned mine,I couldn't take the glitches and nav system....I am keeping the x a long time now.My high hopes for the Bionic are now deflated. I dont have the confidence on Motorola software.....love the hardware though.

If by some slim chance the Gingerbread update fixes the memory allocation, audio pops, Flash issues and random reboots, I would buy another one since would be an outstanding device.

The people having the rebooting issues, were you running Google Voice by chance? I factory reset mine last night, set up all my email accounts (2 exchange, 1 gmail), my twitter and FB account ( using the built in functionality) and then installed one app, Google Voice. And the phone still rebooted. Was wondering if the people who aren't having the reboot issues are the ones who aren't using Google Voice.

No Google voice for me. I still think the main root issue is poor memory allocation and if were addressed, the DX2 would be rock solid good.

I run google voice for text messaging and experience no problems. In fact, have not had even one reboot problem.
