Root restore an old rom

stuck with a bricked phone but don't want to clear everything...i can root it again, but I'd prefer to use my old ROM

is it under the clear, restore, NAND option?

please help

Boot into recovery. The select recovery option. Then select the nandroid option, then Recovery, then select your backup file.

I tried a hard reset before doing the above and couldn't get it to work. Restoring my backup was the only thing that worked for me.

Hope ya get it going!

I don't know. Mine was already on the card from doing a backup. It was named 2010-07-20-13.23.50. It's in the "ClockworkMod" folder under Backup

I realize that filename is specific to me and my phone and the time/date I made it. It's just giving you and idea of the name format that it used.

Don't know if you know this, but you can change the name of your back up so its easier for you to know which is which if you have more than 1.
