Restore info from sd card

I recently got a new phone. I tried using Backup assistant and my google account to transfer my data from old to new phone. Some of it transfered, but I lost my info from a calender app I had. Is there a way to get it back? Im not very tech smart!

If you access the gmail account associated with your handset, do you see the calendar info in there?
