Root restore message app?

I'm not sure if this problem is totally related to my root, but I've been running the virtuous ROM for a while and suddenly I cannot receive picture messages. This might be related to my installation of Handcent (the timing seems right), but I'm not sure. I tried uninstalling handcent, then i tried a wipe and clean installation of Virtuous, but I still can't get MMS. is there any way to just restore the stock Message app that came with my phone? I'm just stabbing in the dark here about fixing the issue.

if you uninstalled handcent, you should only be left with the stock messaging app. Virtuous uses the stock messaging app.

Are you getting any error messages or is the message just never coming through?

Haha sorry, I posted this and completely forgot about it. Anyway, so now I'm using Virtuous, with, as mentioned, the stock messaging app. The only error message is "Message Not Downloaded: Generic Network Failure." Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the messaging app?

Anytime you reflash the ROM, the messaging app is reinstalled. I'd try downloading apn fix from the market to see if that solves your problem.
