Lurker
Hello guys! :) I am really sorry if there are previous posts with the exact same problem but I have tried many things and they did not helped me. :( I have HTC Desire HD and I thought I updated to JellyBean 4.1.1. (than I found out that I have hacked it and this is custom rom :D , please do not laugh at me I am new at this and I was happy for my success :D ) but now I want to return it to the stock rom, because this one makes problems. I would be very happy and greatful if someone could explain me how. Thank you :o

Hello, pr0blem, welcome to Android Forums - thanks for joining!! :)

You need to download an ruu (ROM Update Utility) - this is an .exe file you run on your PC while the phone is connected and will restore the phone to factory default.

It is relatively straight forward - instructions are provided from the RUU... do this, click next, do that, click next :)

I can't find a link for you right now (I'm in work at the moment), but I'm sure someone will be able to shortly (will have a look when I get home, if nobody's replied).
