Restoring backups without root?

[obsidianwings]

Hi,
Right now I have a rooted LG P500, and have backups of my apps with ti backup. I am considering buying an Xperia Sola, which looks more complicated to root, and also not sure if I really want to root it straight away either.
Is there anyway to restore my titanium backups onto the sola without rooting? Or is there another program I could make backups with that can be used without root?
Thanks

You can restore actual apps, but I'm not sure about settings and data.

Titanium makes 3 files every time you back up an app, one of them is a compresssed folder with the .apk inside it. You could side load these.

Yeah sorry it was more the data I meant I guess. Don't want to lose my saved games and such.
