I just got a new Galaxy Note Edge from cracking the screen on my old one. I had a SMS backup from SMS Backup & Restore from roughly 2 days ago. Well I inserted SD card into new phone, downloaded SMS Backup & Restore -> restored messages.
Using the default messaging app "Messages" - the only SMS/MMS messages that restore are received messages. NONE of my sent messages are restoring. If I view the .xml file generated my SMS Backup & Restore all of my sent messages are in the file, so I *think* this is a system issue on my device.
What must I do in order to restore my sent messages on this device? I followed this same process roughly a year ago when I got my initial device and it restored both sent/received messages. Why now is it only restoring received? Permission Changes? Security Changes? What must I do to have both Sent/Received restored?
If it matters I have:
Model Number: Samsung-SM-N915A
Android Version: 6.0.1
Kernel Version: 2.10.40-8932341
