Restoring problem

Empero6

Newbie
So i tried to restore my phone to a back up in my sd. It goes by smoothly until it reaches build.prop, then it suddenly just turns off. It keeps doing this on build.prop making me unable to restore it, whats wrong? :\

Depending on how brave you are and the recovery you use, you might be able to salvage it.

If your recovery allows you to only restore certain partitions, you could wipe data, cache, and /system then flash the ROM you used and then only restore the data partition from your NANDroid.

Or, if your recovery doesn't check MD5 files, or you can tell it to ignore it, you could open the NANDroid with WinRar and manually replace build.prop with the one from the ROM's zip file.

Or, the safest solution would be to just wipe /system, /boot, /data, and /cache and reflash everything and just set up the phone manually.
