Retail stores on 12/19?

Will the retail stores have the Nexus Prime on 12/19?

The reason I ask is that all pre-orders are pretty much gone. The only way to get one on XMas is through retail stores. I am hoping Best Buy, Game Stop, and/or Tiger Direct. I really want one for XMas for my daughter.

It's going to be tough, demand seems to be far outstripping supply.

Maybe if you can find out when a Best Buy is getting a shipment and show up an hour or two before they open?

Thanks. That is my hope all that week. I think the demand is far out pacing supply. I should have preordered. None of the preorder sites have any clue when the preorders will ship.

The Gamestop near me just got their preorder going and seemed adamant that they would have supply on day of. They also had their demo unit there so I got to play with it as well. As expected, its a game changer.

In store buying defeats purpose of PO. I know, I know, there are "rumors" that online orders will release like 1 week before retail stock. But, if they are set to hit retail the 19th, and Amazon is saying delivery after the 25th.. WTF would you PO? That means I will get mine after a retail buyer... IF this happens, I of course cancel all PO.

OR, go buy retail to fill my jones, get my shipped PO which is cheaper, and return that at the retail store unopened for a full 30 day refund

So what are your impressions of it as far as how it feels compared to the galaxy tab, how quick it responded, how thin it is?
