Hi....my name is Keith. I'm reatively new to computing, however, my goal is to learn as much as possible to enhance my life style. I have observed your questions and responses and am excited to tap new knowledge sources.

I recently purchased a xoom and am having trouble opening .wm and .wmv

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Kieth!

The stock media player on the Xoom does not support a lot of formats. You will have to look at alternate players for that and decide which fits your needs best. I have had a bit of success using Mobo Player on my Asus Transformer. You might want to check in with Motorola XOOM - Android Forums to see if there's a better one for the Xoom.
