If they're entered as Account contacts, they're already backed up on Google Contacts
If they're saved as SIM-card contacts, they're backed up to your SIM card.
If not, about the only way is to find a store with a blank contact transfer device or one willing to put a temporary screen on your phone long enough for you to copy your contacts.
