You can't. Once you delete a text message, it's effectively GONE. The only way to access deleted SMS messages that I know of is to get the phone's SMS history from the cell provider. But that will likely require a court order. Sorry!

Hi, did u happen to see my next question which is a reply to myself, (I'm new)

Or, every now and then I come across a contact log that list all time contacts with a person even though I deleted the call logs, when I call them again it all comes up

Okay, if you're referring to the home screen, what do you mean you keep losing it? Are you talking about the home screen, or the lock screen?

Call log is very different from the SMS log. If you deleted the entire call log but a complete call history comes up for a certain contact, that's a question for your cell provider (or someone else here... I'm at a loss on that one).

You can designate which home screen is your default home screen, the one that comes up with the home button. You can specify any of your home screens to be default. Since I use a custom launcher, I'm not sure what the process is. You can Google "Select Default Home Screen" and see what you can find.

What the Chief is saying.
Your 'home screen', or the one you think is the home screen did not disappear, it just moved out of sight. as of now, when you push the Home Button it is selecting a different screen than you want.

on a Samsung, you just Long Press any screen and a picture of a House appears at the top of the screen.
You then press on the screen you want and drag it up onto that House.

once that is done, that screen becomes the new "Home Screen"...
IIRC, my daughter's HTC One M9 works the same way.
