Return OC/Voltages Back to Stock

SO I just did a BIOS u[date for my Asus motherboard.

Upon startup , it asked me to boot into the BIOS. So I did , and from there , I went for a quick look to see what options I have.

Under AI Tweaker , I accidentally activated the CPU OC thing...
After some reboots, I found that I OC'd to 4.2Ghz. I didn't want this so I went back to the BIOS and changes some settigns to Auto etc , but I think maybe the iGPU and voltages stuff is wrong...

If I go back in and take some shots , could anyone direct me to taking it back to stock ?

Asus P8Z77 V-LX
Intel i5 3750K

Would reflashing the BIOS make a difference?

Another questions: in the BIOS it says my RAM is at 1333MHZ, but its supposed to be at 1600MHz. Am I safe to just change that ?
EDIT: I think I sorted the CPU Frequencies but not the iGPU/Volktages stuff.

Right now , I've got just over the voltages showed in the Ai SUite

e.g. V Core is 1.064 , +12V is 12.192 etc

Under the TuboV Evo bit , the CPU ratio is at 3.8 Ghz.

there should be a way to go back to default settings check around the last page to see if there is a return to default or something similar.

- If you can get into CMOS Setup, what argedion said; if not, use the CMOS_CLR (or something similar) jumper or button on the motherboard (cf. the manual)

- If you haven't proven it's stability, flashing is inadvisable as it could fail, potentially bricking it

- 4.2 shouldn't be a problem; you got a K, so OC it. Personally, I like to keep stock voltages (My SB is at 4.2)

I'll have a look.

Is my warranty now voided?

Edit : went into bios and set "load optimised defaults". Everything seems fine.

What about the ram frequency?

Edit 2 : Yeah , so if I overclock the RAM and cpu nicely , making sure nothing gets too hot - could Corsair/Intel know / not accept a warranty claim ?

Reason being - I rooted my DHD , and as long as everything works fine , I can easily OC it . Then if there was a problem , I could return to stock and send it for repair .

I changed the OC back to 3.4 under the TurboV Evo thing in AI SUite .

DO the voltages look good?

open

( right click on the icon , and open in a new tab )

Corsair replied back r.e. the RAM. They said to change the settings in the BIOS to XMP. Didn't mention if it voids warranty.

Running your devices within spec won't void the warranty. Spec with the spec sheet, not "as delivered"; i.e. the 2500k is rated up to 1.52v (that's plenty).

RAM just leave at XMP and disable any "turbo" RAM features.

I don't see any icon to click. If you're running stock frequencies, just leave voltages at stock settings. Like I said, you can easily run 4.2GHz on stock voltage settings (which will be dynamic based on the frequency and load, not wasting power/heat).

Thanks for the reply, but i don't know what the stock voltages are?
"[Auto]"

Stock CPU voltages aren't fixed; they vary with load and with each individual CPU.

DDR3 is generally 1.5v but can be 1.35v-1.65v; look at the stick.

I'll have to have another look in the bios.

Corsair replied to my email telling me to set my ram to XMP... How o I do this ?

Some screenies from the BIOS :

Is this the right XMP settign for the ram?

These are the right setings for the voltages etc ?

This is what it says r.e. my RAM freq

I could increase it like this

Which makes everything look like this

So there['s that , and also the question of changing the RAM settings to XMP
