yea AndroidTool is the only way I know that works and that is the reason I will be staying away from Lollipop until XPosed has better support for 5.0.
I have heard you can use a usb to ethernet adapter with an OTG cable. see here
Are you talking of some device that would plug in my laptop USB port and connect to the phone thru ists micro USB plug? Or a device that the rj45 internet cable would plug into then into the phone?
