Revert back to S3 ICS

I was on Jelly Bean 4.3 but the battery was bad so I downloaded a stock rom of ICS 4.0.4 & cannot get any reception. My IEMI & IEMISV is messed up & is showing 0049 at the start of the IEMI. But if I go back to Jelly Bean I'm able to get reception & the IEMI & SV is fixed but I don't want to do that. I tried restoring the EFS but it didn't do anything. As a lot of features are absent in Jelly Bean & the battery life is horrible. Can anyone help me? Here's the Rom's details

Far as I know Knox prevents going back, you're lucky you haven't totally bricked it from the horror stories I've read.

If someone actually new how to get my VZW back to android 4.2 without bricking the phone, I think I would pay them if the price was reasonable.

What started out as a phone that I really liked has turned into a phone I really hate after the 4.3 and 4.4 update.

I've actually been trying to find used S3 phones on ebay with 4.2. Then I can root it and freeze the update checking and notification.

Just an FYI there never was a 4.2 release for the S3. It went from 4.1.2 to 4.3.

Once you have done the 4.4 update you are stuck.
You can use roms only such as moar 9 which is a 4.3 Rom if I recall right.

You can't do much other than the Rom though, because if you adjust the boot loader or modem it will hard brick the phone.
Only real way is to find a phone with 4.1.2 on it.

As far as the 4.2, as I understand it there was a 4.2 release just not to all phones, only to certain ones. I'm guessing the international versions. The rest got 4.3 and bypassed the 4.2 altogether.

What exactly do you not like about the 4.4 update?
