A very positive review. I'd like to see more about the hands-on experience and the camera's image quality but so far I'm leaning towards this as my new portable internet device (replacing my cumbersome HP laptop).

Still no indication who will be selling the HD 7 besides Gamestop.
Now that the Nexus 7 has come out we'll have a choice between 2 excellent ASUS 7 inch tablets at two distinctly different price points. After reading the initial reviews of the Nexus 7 it's clear that, for my needs, the Nexus 7 is overkill. I'll be picking up the HD 7 as soon as it becomes available.

I agree and for what is available on the HD 7, I think it's a better choice than the original Nexus 7,at least for me.

A mediocre review by Cnet, 3/5 stars. It loves the screen quality but criticizes the HD 7 for its slow performance and lag.

they review is based on Android V 4.1 that why they call it mediocre ...
i saw many reviews of the MeMo 7 HD version 4.2 in youtube and they said is very great Tablet Fast, great vivid colors, good sound ect...
